About The Founder
I'm Jas Bains, founder of CryptoKnowledge.
I graduated top of my year at law school and completed a Master's in Business at the University of Cambridge, Judge Institute.
I spent over two decades working in the City of London. I qualified as an international finance lawyer at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, one of the UK's "Magic Circle" law firms, and later worked as an investment banker at JPMorgan, ING Barings, and Barclays Capital, where I structured complex, multi-billion-pound cross-border financings.

Through experience, Jas saw how money really moves, how banks operate, how crises unfold, how decisions at the top reach ordinary people.
Then came 2020. Economies shut down, central banks printed trillions in new money, and inflation surged. It brought him back to a question he'd thought about his whole career: how are ordinary people supposed to protect the value of their money?
Some turn to property. Others to gold. He turned to Bitcoin, not as a bet on price, but as a monetary asset: scarce, decentralised, and built for a digital world.
When he looked for a course that explained Bitcoin properly, most started in the wrong place, focused on what to buy or which coin might moon next. He believes you should first understand why Bitcoin exists: money, inflation, central banks, debt, gold, crises. Only then does Bitcoin make sense.
He couldn't find a course that did this. So he built it.
CryptoKnowledge won't tell you what to buy. It gives you the knowledge to make up your own mind.
